Axe throwing is a great all year round activity we actually use genuine Norse tomahawks (unlike the urban axe throwing companies that tend to use cheap B&Q hatchets) and throw at real rounds (again you won't find that in the urban centres), we like to fully immerse you in the Norse experience we even name our ranges after Norse gods (Thor, Odin etc...) we teach you how to stick hawks and compete against each other finishing the session off with our double bit monster and the distance challenge (how far from the target can you stick an axe), it's a fantastic session which if the weather is horrible we can run indoors if necessary at our centre (we can't run double bit and distance challenge indoors I'm afraid).
Our instructors have years of experience making sure your session is not only as much fun as possible but also safe. Axe Throwing is ideal activity for the whole family (if children are over 10) and also a great team activity as it’s exciting and competitive - this makes it ideal for stag and hen parties. A session of axe throwing combines really well with half a day canoeing or knife throwing, archery or maybe a half day of bushcraft, but we could also combine it with other adventure activities such as climbing or abseiling. We can make a day to suit your needs and provide a day of adventure you will never forget.
If you are looking for a full weekend of adventure then why not try our Wild Wye Valley Weekend that also involves a full day canoeing on probably the best stretch of river in UK.
The price for a 2.5 hour session with an instructor is £30 per person - please note the minimum group size is 8 people from May to October and 4 people between October and May...
